Biomechanics  (Functional Problems)

An assessment includes details questioning to determine the cause, including your medical history.

​

The assessment will look at the movement of joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves and circulation. Your walking pattern and footwear are also examined and then a potential diagnosis, treatment and management plan is then delivered.

Please note that follow up reviews are often an essential part of your treatment but this is kept to a minimum where possible.  Onward referral to other health professionals is also sometimes needed to provide the best outcome for you or a member of your family.

Biomechanics issues can include

  • Leg Length Differences

  • Knee Pain

  • Leg or Foot Fractures

  • Shin Splints/Pain

  • Achilles Tendinitis

  • Ankle Sprains

  • Heel Pain

  • Flat Feet

  • Collapsed Arches

  • Toe Pain
